Aikido Lviv is a public organization, which was founded over 20 years ago (in 1989) for the purpose of development of martial and healing art of Aikido, and is of high international level.

In Aikido Center Lviv training conducted Aikido instructors, certified in accordance with the requirements of the International Federation of Aikido with the center in Hombu Dojo, Tokyo, Japan

  Over the lifetime of the Center team of instructors repeatedly represented Ukraine and the city of Lviv in domestic and international seminars, festivals, martial arts demonstrations of Aikido martial arts with participation of leading masters from Japan, Poland, France.

more than 20 years ago (1989) initiated the tradition of Aikido in Lviv and Western Ukraine, the founder of Aikido Lviv.

Aikido Aikikai Lviv especially grateful to Sensei R.Hoffmann 6 Dan Aikido Aikikai for their guidance and constant training and seminars. Sensei R.Hoffmann,is one of the best Aikido masters of Europe and the world, began studying Aikido in 1978, in 1986, he received the first master's degree (black belt) from the hands of the Sensei Toshikazu Ishimura. Participated in seminars and constantly trained with Sensei Fujita, Yokota Sensei, Asai Sensei, Saotome Sensei, Endo Sensei, Sugano Sensei, Kanetsuka Sensei, Inaba Sensei, Sensei Ishhashi, Tissier Sensei, Yamada Sensei. The degree of master 4th Dan Aikido Aikikai received from the hands of Moriteru Ueshiba (the Head of the Aikikai Organization, General Director of the Hombu Dojo in Tokyo. In 2002 in Japan during the celebration of Kagami Biraki received 5th Dan. In 2011 in Japan during the celebration of Kagami Biraki received 6th Dan.
